Robyn Hanover is a twenty-six year old eventer from the town of Sandwich on Cape Cod in
Massachusetts currently riding in the
USEA Area I preliminary division.
In the eight years that she has been eventing, her riding has taken her from the Island of Martha’s Vineyard, where she grew up, to
Flatlands Equestrian Center in Rehoboth, MA, to Ocala, Florida, riding out of
Darren Chiacchia’s Independence Farm for the winters of ‘07/’08 and ‘08/’09, and for the
last two winters out of Flatlands again.
Robyn's 2010 competitive year in the USEA Preliminary Adult Amateur Division won her a first place in Area I (New York & New England),
and, as of October, fourth place in the national standings.
The trajectory of her career as defined by her steady progress promises continued advancement and
growing recognition of her talents in this, the most demanding and exciting of equestrian sports.
